I let a girl I am sleeping with read the "Where Am I?" series. Surprisingly, she did not seem disgusted. I worked hard to ensure that she understood that /b/ made the decisions, not me.
Was interesting to watch someone actually read the series in person though, rather than just examining reactions online. The other main difference of course was that she was not able to participate... the ability to participate in stories makes them a lot better in my opinion... determining the outcome of events is a lot more fun than merely observing.
