Zombie Bitch - No Choices


You wake up in the morning and shake your head.  The iPod alarm is blaring in your ear, "Don't let me be misunderstood" by Santa Esmeralda inspiring you to wake up.  You roll out of bed, naked, and take a look in the mirror.  You have long, blonde hair down your back and large, firm breasts positioned perfectly on your body.  At 25, you are still in the prime of your life, and so you stop to admire yourself for a few moments before you head over to the closet to prepare for your day.
You pull on a pair of white panties, then pull a sports bra over your chest to contain your large breasts before putting on your small blue running shorts and a tight white t-shirt.  You wash your face quickly, brush your teeth, and then head downstairs.  You grab a banana and your iPod as you head out the door, then turn right and begin to jog down the street. 
It is a misty morning in the suburbs, with the only sounds your feet slapping against the pavement and your iPod playing "Rolling in the deep" by Adele.  You are lost in the music and the running when, after a kilometer or so, you look over your shoulder and see a man following you in the mist.  He seems to be lumbering along with an unusual gait, and he is fully clothed, so he does not appear to be out for exercise, but he is keeping up with you.  You decide to pick up speed, running faster so that you quickly outpace him and he disappears back into the mist.
You begin to relax again, when suddenly another man appears to your left, running towards you and wailing at full volume.  He has spit pouring from his mouth and a there is blood pouring from his right leg.  He is tall and white, with blonde hair and an attractive face, but his face is contorted into a look of absolute rage as he runs towards you.  You veer off to your right and head straight for the first house that you can see through the mist, running towards the steps and screaming at the top of your lungs. 
The man behind you is approaching quickly, and as you run toward the house you shout, "Help me!" 

You sprint up the steps of the house, there are four, and bang on the door with all your might. The man behind you is running towards you and screaming. You shout again, "Someone come and help me!"  You look over your shoulder and see the man only a few feet away from you, his eyes shining as he launches himself up the stairs at you.  Just as he is about to reach you, the door opens and you fall forward, landing on your face in the landing of the door. The door slams shut behind you.
 

You look up to see a man staring down at you, naked, in his mid-forties. He has long, brown hair and he looks like he would be the stereotypical redneck or blue collar worker if he was actually clothed, with his belly straining at the front of his flannel shirt.  "What the fuck is going on?" he asks.
"Someone is out there chasing me! Help me!" you shout at the man. There is banging against the door and you hear a scream from outside. The man looks out through his peephole and then looks back down at you. 

"Someone out there looks fucking nuts..." he responds. Suddenly, a portly middle-aged woman appears behind him with a robe on. "What the fuck is that girl doing here; get her out of here!" she shouts at him.
 

"Shut up, Sally," he responds. "There's something going the fuck on."
"Can you protect me from whatever is outside?" you ask the man. 

Sally begins shouting, "What the fuck is this? Why is there a girl in our house early in the morning laying there on the goddamn floor when you are naked!"

"Shut the fuck up, woman!" the man shouts again. He looks down at you. "Alright, little lady, I'll help you out. You just wait here while I go get some clothes on."

You nod and stand up as he walks back towards his room. There is still banging at the door.  Sally stares at him in amazement as he walks by her, and then she turns back to you and begins screaming again.  "You stupid little slut," she begins.  "Sally, just wait. Someone out there came chasing after me!" you try to speak over her.
"I don't fucking care what's out there, you stupid bitch. Get the fuck out of my house and don't touch my man, you whore!" she screams at you. 

She walks over to you, grabs you by the arm, and begins pushing you towards the door. "Now, I want you to get the fuck out of my house before I have to call the police," she says. She puts her hand on the door knob and begins to turn, all the while still looking at you and shouting.  Your mouth drops as the door opens and the man who was outside sees the two of you, with Sally ignoring him and continuing to shout at you as she opens the door wide. 
He grabs her by the chest as soon as the door opens wide enough and pulls her towards him. She shrieks in surprise and lets go of your arm. As you turn to run, you see his teeth sink into her neck and blood spray everywhere across her white robe, and Sally lets out an ear piercing scream.  You hear the man shouting from his room as you run for the back door.  You hear loud foosteps behind you as you run through the hallway towards the back of the house. 

"Get the fuck away from my wife," you hear as you run through his kitchen. Then you hear the boom of a shotgun.  You stop as soon as you hear the boom of the shotgun. The man has a weapon. You grab a knife from the kitchen and then turn back and walk towards the front door.
 

The man is crouched beside Sally, who is lying on her back screaming in pain, blood pouring from her neck. He has taken his shirt off and he is trying to stop the wound, but blood is seeping through everywhere, pouring over his hands. He has left the shotgun by his side as he is trying to stem the flow of the blood.  You look beyond him to see that he has shot the man who was chasing you, but that man is still alive, writhing and squirming on the ground.
You drop the knife and grab the shotgun from beside the man. He ignores you and continues to try and stop the bleeding from his wife's throat. You walk out the front door and look down at the man who attacked Sally.

There is blood pouring from his mouth and from a large wound in his chest. You can see that there is still fight left in him, and he tries to scream and push himself up into a sitting position as soon as he sees you.  You level the shotgun at his face, grimace, and then pull the trigger. His head disappears in an explosion of brain, skull and blood. You rack another shell and then turn back towards the man, who is still trying to save Sally.
"I'll go call 9-11," you tell the man as you walk back into the house. You slam the door behind you and then lock the door. 

You walk by him. There are tears pouring from his eyes as he tries to help Sally. You head into the kitchen, still gripping the shotgun tightly, and grab the phone. You pick it up, dial 9-11, and then listen. The line is busy. Fuck.
 

You call back from the kitchen, "The fucking line is busy."
 

"Fuck," he responds. He calls back to you, "We have to drive her to the hospital."
"Fuck that, I'm going home," you tell the man. "You're on your own."

You walk back out of the kitchen. He's there on his knees, looking down at Sally dying in front of him. He looks up at you, anger in his eyes. "You won't fucking help me even after you got her into this mess? What the fuck is wrong with you, you coldhearted bitch!"
 

He grabs the knife from the floor and stands in front of you, barring the door. "If you're leaving, then you better leave my damn shotgun, bitch!"
 
You look at him, standing there with tears pouring down his face as he holds the knife in front of him, his hand shaking. His wife is still moaning and rolling around on the floor. You raise the shotgun to your shoulder and you see a look of surprise in his eyes. The look does not last long, as you pull the trigger, sending a slug through his chest. He falls back against the door, then slides down onto his back. There is dark blood sprayed against his white door. Blood bubbles from his lips as he tries to speak, but no words come out.  He flails with the knife for a few moments, and then his body goes limp and his head lolls to the side. 
You leave the two of them lying there and head down the hall towards the bedroom where the man emerged. You begin rifling through the drawers, looking for additional shells for the shotgun. You find five or six boxes of shells in the bottom drawer on the man's side of the room (his clothes are lying there on the floor). You load three more shells into the shotgun and then grab the boxes. 

You grab a long coat from the man's closet and pull it on over your t-shirt. You begin to fill the pockets with shells, pouring the boxes out and then jamming the shells into every pocket available.
 

As you are loading shells into your pockets, you hear a moan from down the hall. You ignore it, thinking it is just Sally as she dies, when suddenly Sally appears in the room. She is standing there, blood pouring from her neck wound and her eyes white. Realization hits you as you see her standing there, groaning, covered in blood, and with her neck wound black.  You raise the shotgun to your shoulder and then pull the trigger, hitting her in the chest. She staggers back against the wall, screams loudly, and then rushes towards you. You pump the shotgun and fire again, this time hitting her in the neck. Blood sprays everywhere as you nearly sever her head from her body, and she falls to the floor, motionless. 
You run by her body and back to the front door. You find the keys to their car hanging up near the front door. The door to the carport is just to the left of the front door, and so you open it and head into the garage. 

The man drove an old-school, 1969 Mustang. It's black, large, and beautiful. You unlock the door and jump into the front seat, putting the shotgun down beside you. There is a button on the keys for the garage door, and you hit it, the door slowly rolling up in front of you.
 

As you start the car, a CD begins playing. "Don't Fear the Reaper" comes on as you hit the gas and drive out into the street. The streets are still empty. The clock says 5:20am.  The entire ordeal thus far only took 15 minutes from start to finish, but it felt like forever.

You hit the gas and begin to head for the highway. The mist is beginning to burn off in the morning sun. There is still no one else on the road, but you hear sirens near you. You are driving at near full-speed through the streets of the suburb when you see a police car speed around a corner. Despite your speed, the cop car drives right by you, heading the way you came.

They must know that something is going on.

You have driven a few minutes along the roads of the suburb when you finally come upon a red light. You pull up and stop. There is no other traffic, but there is also no reason to take a risk. You see a man walking down the street, seeming in a daze. He catches sight of you and begins to walk towards your car.
 
You look at the man walking towards you, but you keep your foot on the brake. A car speeds through the intersection in front of you and you count your blessings that you did not blow through the intersection.

The man who was walking towards you is suddenly beside your window. He knocks on it calmly. "Hey ma'am, wanna roll down your window?" You look at him. He appears normal; there are no outward signs of zombification, and his manner of speech is normal as well.

You roll down your window. "Do you know what the fuck is going on?" he asks you. "My phone isn't working. You able to give me a lift?"
 

He is in his early twenties, has brown hair, and looks a bit scummy.
 
"Get in the car, you fucking idiot. Shit's about to crazy," you respond. He grins and runs around to the passenger side door. You throw the shotgun in the back seat and then unlock the door to let him inside. He takes his seat, closes the door, and then looks over at you, noticing that you are wearing running shorts and have blood dripping down your jacket.

"What the fuck is going on?" he asks. "Oh, and nice car."

"Fuck if I know. Now, we're going to get the fuck out of here."
 

"Fair enough, lady," he responds with a laugh. As soon as the light turns green, you hit the gas. Traffic is beginning to appear on the road as you drive through town.

You drive by a Wal-Mart and realize that you do not have any supplies.  You pull into the parking lot of the Wal-Mart. It's one of those 24/7 ones, where the people on food stamps line up at night just before their cards activate for the next month.
 

You grab the shotgun and get out of the car. The guy looks at you. "Do you really think we need that for a Wal-Mart stop?"
 

"I'm not taking any fucking chances," you respond.

"I'm James by the way," he says to you with a smile. "So what the hell is going on?"

"I told you. I don't know what the fuck is going on. We're going to go in there, buy some supplies, and then get the fuck out of here."
 

"Alright... I'm with you then, lady.  Given you are covered in blood you must know more than you are letting on," he begins, but you ignore him and wave away his implied question. 

You walk into the store, grab a cart, and head down the food aisle. A man from the store follows you down the food aisle. "Ma'am, you can't carry your shotgun in here," he shouts at you.
"James, beat that fucking asshole," you say to him. James looks at you in surprise, then looks at the Wal-Mart employee. The Wal-Mart employee takes a look at the two of you and then makes a run for it. You laugh.

"What was that for?" he asks you. "Fastest way to get him to fuck off, I figured," you respond.

You grab as much food as you can fit into your cart and then head for the checkout. The employee from before is standing there looking at you, anger in his eyes. "If I could get through to the cops you would be in jail by now!" he shouts, his voice whiny as he holds the desk phone in his hand, waving it at you and shouting. 
You give the guy at the checkout counter the finger when he shouts at you and then just walk out of the store. 

"Stop!" he shouts after you, but you ignore him. As you enter the parking lot, you see a few people milling about. One of them turns, looks at you, and then begins walking towards you. You hand the shopping cart over to James and grip the shotgun tightly.
 

"Whatever you do, don't let them touch you," you tell James.
 

"Whatever you say, lady. They don't look like they're going to-"
 

Before he finishes the people have begun running towards you. One of them begins screaming, just as Sally had screamed. James begins running with the cart, and you open fire with the shotgun.
 

Shoot. Pump. Shoot. Pump. Shoot. Pump. Shoot. Pump. By the time you have arrived at the car the people behind you are lying and screaming on the ground. You begin to reload the shotgun with shells from your pockets.
 

You see another group of four or five zombies headed towards you from the edge of the parking lot.
"Load the supplies into the car, James," you shout to him. He frantically begins loading the food into the car as the zombies rush towards you from across the parking lot. 

There are four of them. You kneel down. You wait until they are within forty meters, and then you fire at the first one. Your shot catches him in the leg and it tumbles to the ground. It begins trying to crawl towards you on its stump.
 

Pump. You fire again, this time catching a middle aged woman who is screaming in rage in the chest, sending her flying back onto the ground.
 

Pump. The next round catches a black man in the face, his head disappearing in a mist of gore.
 

Pump. The last one is almost upon you, and you just get your shot off as it comes scratching towards your face. It goes flying back as the slug hits it in the stomach. It lays there on the ground, shrieking and trying to crawl towards you.
 

You hear the car start behind you. "Get in!" James shouts.
 

You jump in as he hits the gas, and the two of you drive away. You look back to see the Wal-Mart employees standing in the parking lot looking out at the carnage.
  "I know somewhere we can hole up if you want," James says.
"Alright, we'll never make it to the highway," you respond to James. He turns left and heads down the street. You see someone lurch into the street in front of you. You are not sure if they are human or zombie, but James does not seem to care. He hits the gas, striking the man in the chest and sending him flying over the top of the car. You see a few people in the street as you drive away from the Wal-Mart, but you cannot tell if they are zombies or not. You hear shooting at random from all around you. It sounds like fucking Libya.

James pulls up to a run-down house in a relatively poor neighbourhood. "My place," he says. He gets out of the car and opens the garage door manually, and then drives the car inside.  The two of you get out.
 
"Alright James, we need to start boarding up the house," you tell him as you get out of the car. 

He looks at you. "Where the fuck do you think I would store boards in a shitty place like this?" he asks you with a laugh. You grimace.
 

"Alright, then we have to take wood from inside and begin to use it to board up the house," you respond.
 

"Shit, lady, I don't even have any fucking tools," he says to you as he runs his hands through his greasy hair.
 

"You said we could hole up here... and you don't even have any fucking wood or tools?"
 

"Well, we have a gun, right..."
"Fuck this, asshole. I'm getting the fuck out of here."

"Woah, wait... lady, I mean, come on! I can help keep you safe." James holds the keys in his hand. "Besides, I have the keys now, so I think you should just stay with me," he says with a dirty smile.
 

"Oh, you fucking think I should stay here with you, eh? Next thing I know you'll be asking me to suck your fucking cock, asshole."

"Well, that would be nice," he responds with a laugh, jangling the keys.
 
You look at James holding the keys and laugh. "You are the second fucking idiot today who thought that I would be reluctant to use this," you say to James with a smile as you lift the shotgun from your side. 

James begins to splutter and tries to speak, but you pull the trigger before any words come out of his mouth. The slug catches him in the groin and he drops to the ground, blood pouring from a massive wound between his legs. He begins to scream in pain, grasping at where his cock used to be. "You stupid little piece of shit," you say to him and then spit in his face.
 

You don't even bother killing him. He can bleed out or become one of them.

You grab the garage door and then lift it manually. You walk back over to James and grab the bloody keys from the ground beside him. "Goodbye, asshole," you say to him as you get back in the Mustang and drive out.  "Stop!  Help me!  Please!  Please!" you hear him calling out from behind you.  You hit the gas on the Mustang and pull back into the road.  A few zombies are lumbering down the street towards James' house, attracted by the screaming and the sound of the shotgun.
You are going to make it to the highway this time no matter what. You speed down the street. You can smell fire, and there is shooting going on everywhere. People are running around aimlessly in the street screaming. Some of them are zombies, but others are just people who woke up to the sight of their neighbour trying to eat their face.

You avoid all of them, even the ones who try to flag you down for assistance. Fuck 'em. You're on your own now.
 

You reach the on-ramp for the highway. It is still clear of cars. You pull onto the highway and hit the gas. It's now 6:30 in the morning. You look at the meter on the gas tank and see that you do not have the gas for a long trip.
 
You speed down the highway and get one exit along, where you see a gas station. You pull off the highway and head up towards the gas station. The pumps are backed up, with four or five cars in front of you and people honking and screaming at each other. Forget it. There is no way you have time to wait in line at a gas station, and there is no way that you can take the risk dealing with anyone else who might be armed at a time like this.

You spin the car around and head back onto the highway. The level of traffic has picked up slightly, but everyone is driving at full speed. It seems people wake up quickly when there is a zombie attack.
 

Your car is fast, and you are able to weave in and out of traffic as you advance down the long highway, headed east. You flip on the radio and hear emergency reports saying that people should stay inside, stay off the highway, and lock their doors. Fools.

About twenty minutes down the highway the gas tank meter has hit empty, and at this point you know it will not be able to last too much longer.  You see that the next exit ahead has a sign for a gas station and a Dunkin Donuts. You decide to pull in and purchase some gas for your guzzler. You pull off the road and drive up towards the gas station.
 

The gas station has a lineup nearly 20 cars long. People have got out of their cars and are screaming at each other. There is a man near the front of the line waving around a pistol and shouting at the people in front of them. This is going to be a touchy situation.  You pull up beside the man who is waving his pistol around. You get out of your car and wave at him. He stops and looks at you. "What the fuck do you want?" he shouts over at you.

You wave your shotgun at him. "The two of us can take any fuckers in this lineup. Drive up to the front with me and we'll just get our gas and go," you tell him.

He laughs and nods at you. The two of you jump back in your cars and you pull up to the front of the line.
 

You pull up and edge your car in front of the next person in line for a spot. The man with the pistol drives in tight behind you. The man who you are edging out gets out of his car and begins shouting at you.
 

"I'm not fucking moving this car," he tells you.  You sit in the car and wait. The man who was carrying the pistol walks up to the man who got out of his car, waving the pistol around like a maniac.
 

"Move your fucking car, you piece of shit," he begins shouting. The driver turns to him in anger. The pistol waver hits him in the face with his pistol, sending the man falling to the ground.

"Now move your fucking car, you piece of shit," he shouts at the man lying on the ground. The man holds his hand up, "Fine! Just don't fucking hit me again!" When he stands you see blood pouring from his nose. The pistol man grins at you through the windshield as the bleeding man backs his car away for you.

You pull up and get out of your car. You pull the hose off and put it in your car. It says waiting for authorization on the screen. "Fucking authorize me," you shout at the machine. 
 

"No," comes a response from inside the store over the intercom. "I saw what you did. It's not fair to jump in line."
You turn to the man with the pistol. "Wait here. I'll go fucking deal with this." You storm into the gas station. The attendant is standing there looking at you. He is young, probably 19 or so, and he seems to think that being a gas station has imbued him with some sort of moral authority in a crisis. 

"I told you, you're not going to get any gas unless you get back in line with the rest of the people and then -"

You cut him off by leaning over the counter and hitting him in the face with the butt of the shotgun. You step around the counter and kick him in the stomach. He curls up and begins to cry as you kick him a few more times. You hit the authorize button. It's bright fucking green and says Authorize on it.
 

"If you turn off the gas I'll shoot you, you little piece of shit," you say and then kick him once again in the face.

You step around the counter and grab a Snickers. You tear it open as you walk back to your car and begin to chew. "Fucking delicious."

The man with the pistol grins at you. "Hey, how about we team up?" he asks you. His car is a piece of shit, but he has a pistol.
"Fine, follow along once we get gas," you tell the man. He nods and pulls into the next spot and begins to fuel his vehicle. 

As you are fueling up, someone approaches from the rear of the lineup. It is an older man, and he's waving a rifle.
 

"I'm not going to let you people get away with this," he begins. "This isn't the way civilized people behave! You can't just go around looting! They did that in Britain, and look what happened there in London over there!"

You look over at the man with the pistol. "Is this fucker for real?" you ask him. He laughs and shrugs his shoulders.
"Look, old man," you say to him as you begin walking over to him. "I'm not trying to be a hard-ass here, but this really is our gas." He looks at you and begins to speak again, but you pull the trigger before he can talk. Your slug hits him full on in the chest and he stumbles backwards and falls to the ground.  He lays there, unmoving, with blood pouring onto the pavement of the gas station and down the drain. 

You look at the rest of the people in the lineup. "Don't try shit!" you shout at them. "I'll fucking kill all the rest of you as well if that's what is required!" you shout.
 

You pick up the old man's rifle and throw it in the back of your Mustang. As soon as you are filled up you get back in the driver's seat and pull forward. The man with the pistol follows you as you pull away.
 

As you drive back to the onramp you see that it's now crowded with cars. Fuck.
 
You try to drive around them on the side of the highway. Someone pulls out and cuts you off. It is a large van, and you can see that it is full of people. You are enraged. 

You get out of the car and walk forward and tap on the window of the van. The guy inside rolls down the window. It's a brown man, and you can see that he has a number of children inside with him. "What do you want?" he asks you.
 

"I want you to get the fuck out of the way," you say to him.
 

"Well, that's not going to happen," he responds. "My kids and I have just as much right as you to get on the highway."
 
You look at his kids in the backseat, then back at your car. Your jacket is covered in blood, but you cannot conceive of actually killing any kids. You walk back to your car and get back inside. The man with the pistol runs up to your window. "What the fuck was that?" he asks you.

"There are kids in the van. I can't just go killing kids." The pistol man grunts and gets back in his car behind you. You edge forward slowly.
 

It's tedious, sitting there and waiting, and you are getting nervous. You look in your rearview mirror and see some people following you from the gas station on foot.
 

You look again a few moments later and realize that they are not people. They have been turned, and they are running towards you at full speed, screaming.
You slam on the horn, trying to get the man to move off the road. He doesn't take any action. You lean on the horn again, but nothing happens. The man with the pistol has got out of his car and is running towards the highway. You hit the horn again, but the man in the van doesn't move. 

He leans out of his van and screams back at you, "I'm not fucking moving, bitch!"
 

You scream back at him, "They are coming for us, asshole!"
 

He suddenly realizes what is going on and hits the gas, slamming into the car in front of him. He tries to drive forward and push the car off the road, but the two of them just get stuck together.
 

The zombies are almost upon you.
 
You get out of the car and see ten zombies running towards you at full speed, screaming at the top of their lungs. 

You kneel and fire. Pump. Fire. Pump. Fire. Pump. They are almost on you. Fire. Pump. You see a skull explode as it catches a slug. Fire. Pump. Another one falls just before it can reach you. Fire. An arm flies off and a zombie spins around to the ground. Pump. Fire. The zombie closest to you falls backwards, clutching at a gaping wound in its chest. Fire. Pump.
 

Click.
 

You scramble in your jacket for more shells. Fucking click.
 

You look up to see a large, black zombie scream as he stands above you, and then his teeth are on your neck. You feel another one grabbing at your arm and you scream. You feel a tugging at your leg and you scream louder. You feel the blood streaming down your neck. Only seven fucking shells in the magazine. Fuck.

Slowly you awaken in a dark room. Where the hell are you? Your eyes begin to adjust to the dark room now, and around you you can see some objects. Not really anything of worth or interest.. there are several doors though. Maybe you should get the lights on first heh?
